About Luc Taylor Music School
Luc Taylor Music School is a low-stress guitar and bass school focused on practical progress, clear explanations, and comfortable technique. The goal is simple: make guitar accessible to real people with real lives.
Meet Luc
I’m Luc — guitarist, bassist, teacher, and creator of the Low-Load Guitar System (LLGS). I’ve taught complete beginners, self-taught players who felt stuck, and returning players who wanted a structured path forward.
My teaching focuses on reducing tension, simplifying shapes, and helping students build a foundation they can actually use in real music.
What Is LLGS?
LLGS stands for the Low-Load Guitar System — a set of ergonomic chord shapes, shell voicings, and easy-to-navigate patterns that reduce strain and improve clarity.
LLGS diagrams use:
- Red dots with black outlines = fretted notes
- Red dots with gold outlines = root notes
- Green dots (gold outline) = open-string roots
- White finger numbers inside every dot
This consistency makes it easier to navigate the neck, switch between positions, and connect traditional shapes with LLGS shapes.
