About Luc Taylor Music School

Luc Taylor Music School is a low-stress guitar and bass school focused on practical progress, clear explanations, and comfortable technique. The goal is simple: make guitar accessible to real people with real lives.

Meet Luc

I’m Luc — guitarist, bassist, teacher, and creator of the Low-Load Guitar System (LLGS). I’ve taught complete beginners, self-taught players who felt stuck, and returning players who wanted a structured path forward.

My teaching focuses on reducing tension, simplifying shapes, and helping students build a foundation they can actually use in real music.

What Is LLGS?

LLGS stands for the Low-Load Guitar System — a set of ergonomic chord shapes, shell voicings, easy-to-navigate patterns, and a method of teaching that reduce strain and improve clarity.

LLGS diagrams use:

This consistency makes it easier to navigate the neck, switch between positions, and connect traditional shapes with LLGS shapes.

What You Can Learn Here

The site includes a complete beginner pathway:

How Learning Works Here

Most students begin with a $50 first lesson and orientation. This session introduces the LLGS system and shows you how to use the lessons and diagrams in a way that fits your hands and learning style.

After the first lesson, you can continue learning independently using the LLGS lesson site. Students who want continued guidance can optionally join the LLGS learning community for $50 CAD per month, which includes continued lesson access, future lesson modules, and occasional coaching support.

There is no contract and no pressure. Many students simply work through the lessons at their own pace and request guidance only when they need it.
